Reciprocity.
Giving back is at the heart of what I do. I am thankful to have grown up in Kingston and to be shaped by this community, and the strong artistry that brews here. The spirit of this place has influenced my creative journey, from the artwork I envision to the values I hold close. My art is not just about creating beauty—it’s about honoring the interconnectedness of people, nature, and tradition. As my business grows, I believe it’s important to give back to the community that raised me, supporting organizations that protect wildlife, nurture healing, and offer hope. Here are the organizations sales from my artwork have helped support:
Sandy Pines Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre
Sandy Pines Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre is a not-for-profit organization run by actual superheroes that soend every day caring for injured critters. Their dedication to rescuing and rehabilitating injured wildlife is absolutely astounding. Having brought an injured owl to them late at night, I have witnessed their deep care first hand.
Indian Residential School Survivor's Society
The Indian Residential School Survivor's Society provides critical support for survivors and their families, helping them heal from the trauma of residential schools. I have donated to this cause through Orange Shirt sales.
S*xual A*sault Centre Kingston
SACK provides essential services for survivors, creating a safe space for healing and recovery. Their work is vital, and I’m proud to give back to an organization that offers such compassion and care.
